Welcome to The Hoste

Perfectly placed in the heart of Burnham Market, and just 10-minutes from North Norfolk’s stunning coastline, our iconic coaching inn has taken centre-stage in the heart of the community since the 17th-century.

At the bar, you’ll find a hand-picked selection of wines, local beers, cask ales and cocktails alongside tasty bar snacks and nibbles. In the restaurant, we use only the very best ingredients (and we love local, so you’ll find plenty of menu items from much-loved local suppliers), whilst Head Chef Herbert crafts menus that boasts the season’s freshest pick of the crop.

Upstairs and across the way in Vine House, you’ve got 47 individually designed bedrooms to choose from. Whether you’re staying with us for a wondrous weekend break, sunny staycation or week-long escape, we simply can’t wait to welcome you – and the best part? Breakfast is always ready and waiting for you in the morning.

And we’re famously family and dog-friendly, too – so no matter your company, our historic pub with rooms is the perfect place to pop in for a bite to eat, pint at the bar, and to explore the very best of North Norfolk.

Norfolk’s Perfect Sunday

We can’t think of a better way to begin or end a Sunday walk on the beach than with one of our epic roasts. Think crispy roast potatoes, vibrant veg, giant Yorkies and gallons of gravy. Not to mention your choice of tempting meats or our tasty Vegan option to top it all off.

If you fancy more of an experience, why not try our new Thor’s Hammer sharing roast. Think Sunday roast but BIGGER.

Cinema Room

Tucked away underneath our restaurant is the cinema room. We’ve decked it out with iconic red cinema chairs, there’s complimentary popcorn (served in our retro red and white-striped boxes), and the bar is mere moments away.

We screen three films a day (ask at the bar for the latest schedule), whilst Sunday’s are dedicated to children’s films,  and we show all big sporting events on the big screen throughout the year.
